The Bay City Pearl and Oyster Music Festival
We love our community
We are a group of volunteers that come together to plan this annual event, the Bay City Pearl and Oyster Festival. Since 2023 we have organized a two day event filled with fantastic music, organized by Joel B., and a very special family day, filled with games and a talent show, organized by Marly L. Lots of fabulous vendors, local foods, raffles and much more. Held at Al Griffin Memorial Park in Bay City, Oregon, the festival takes place the fourth weekend in August.
Event Highlights:
- Live Music: This FREE festival features 5 Bands on 2 stages spanning 8 hours of non-stop music.
- Family Activities: Sunday is designated as Kid's Day, offering a range of activities tailored for children, including an annual talent show.
- Local Vendors: Attendees can explore booths showcasing local crafts, products, and services, providing a platform for community businesses to connect with festival-goers.
- Food: 2024 featured: Pacific Oyster, Toune’s Noodles, and Ronnie’s BBQ
- Beer & Wine Garden: A variety of options are available, including offerings from local eateries. Beverages such as wine from Clatsop Distributing, Grocery Outlet and beers from Buoy and Pelican.
Community Involvement:
The festival thrives on community support, with numerous local businesses sponsoring and contributing to the event's success. Volunteers play a crucial role, and those interested in participating can find more information on the festival's website.
